Is any of it paid?

The theme and Bevel Kit are free on WordPress.org, with every feature unlocked and no licence key. Bevel MCP is included in every Bevel plan, the free one too; plans differ in how many AI generations (pages and blog posts) an assistant can create each day, how many websites they cover, and whether the pro template library is open. See AI generations.

Do I need Elementor Pro?

No. Bevel Kit provides the Theme Builder, popups, loops, dynamic tags, custom code, forms, sticky and motion effects, custom fonts and icons for the free editor. If Pro is installed anyway, the overlapping parts of the Kit stand down and Pro keeps them. See Working next to Elementor Pro.

Do I need the Bevel theme?

No. The Kit’s theme builder works on any theme. The Bevel theme is the smallest, fastest base for it and renders a complete site on its own if the Kit is ever off.

Does anything phone home?

The theme: nothing. Bevel Kit: nothing until you open Starter Sites or the editor’s template library (which fetch a public catalogue), or press Connect on the Account tab. Bevel MCP: on a site connected to a Bevel account, my.wpbevel.com is asked for the day’s allowance and told when a page or post was created (the tool’s name, never the content), and asked for Bevel MCP updates. Beyond that, only the three things a tool may be asked to fetch: an openly-licensed photo search, the website you name for its brand, and a Google Drive or Dropbox link you paste. See Security and privacy.

Which assistants work with Bevel MCP?

Any MCP client: Claude (claude.ai, the desktop app, Claude Code), ChatGPT, Cursor and others. Cloud clients need a site they can reach on the internet; a site on your own machine works with Claude Code. See Connecting an assistant.

Can the assistant delete things?

No. It cannot delete pages, posts, templates, menus or media, publish without being asked, upload anything but images and fonts, or change accounts. Every capability is a switch, per site and per connection. See Capabilities and scopes.

How do I give the assistant my logo and photos without typing them into the chat?

Drop them into Bevel → MCP Connectors → Brand assets before the conversation, or, during it, ask for an upload link and drop the files on the page it opens. See Brand assets and Uploads.

The header shows the wrong menu

Assign the menu to Primary Menu under Appearance → Menus → Manage Locations. The Kit registers that location on every theme and the Nav Menu widget reads it. See Nav Menu and Mega Menu.

A change does not show on the site

Content changes purge the cache on their own. If one still does not show, Clear Cache in the admin bar’s Bevel node clears the page cache, Elementor’s CSS and any host cache it recognises.

Can I move a site?

Yes. Site Settings → Tools → Import / Export builds a site kit with settings, templates, pages, menus, content, fonts, icons, code and media, and imports it on another Bevel site with everything relinked. See Tools.

Where are submissions?

Bevel → Submissions, for anyone who can edit pages, with CSV export. A form keeps submissions only while Collect Submissions is among its actions. See Forms.

What happens if I uninstall?

Everything built stays; it is the site’s content. Deactivating the Kit removes the page cache’s drop-in and config lines. Deleting Bevel MCP removes its connections, settings, log and upload receipts.
