Bevel Kit does not need Elementor Pro, and Pro does not need to be removed. When both are active, you keep working in Bevel’s screens and Elementor Pro displays the result on the site.

With Elementor Pro active

Carries on as usual:
  • Bevel → Theme Builder: headers, footers, single, archive, search and 404 templates with their display conditions. You manage them here, and Elementor Pro prints them on the site.
  • The Bevel widgets, including the loop widgets and the Carousel, forms and the submissions inbox, and the dynamic tags
  • Nav Menu and mega menus
  • Site Settings, the settings tabs, tools and account
  • Custom Fonts and Custom Icons (Pro’s own custom fonts also get the Kit’s font-display setting)
  • The page cache, WebP conversion, database optimizer, import and export
  • SVG uploads, meta descriptions, the light logo, tooltips, mask shapes, post duplication, front-end edit buttons, shortcodes, font preloading, the admin bar
Handed to Pro, so the Kit’s versions do not load:
  • Popups
  • Element options (sticky, motion effects, attributes, wrapper link, display conditions)
  • Page Transitions
  • WooCommerce templates and widgets
A notice on the Plugins screen says so once, with a link to the Theme Builder; it can be dismissed.

Moving from Pro to the Kit

The Kit follows Elementor Pro’s template types, control ids and markup wherever it replaces a Pro feature, so a site built with Pro comes across with its settings:
  • Theme templates keep their type (header, footer, single, archive and the rest) and their display conditions.
  • Popups, loops, forms and carousels keep their settings, and their markup and class names are Pro’s, so they keep their styling.
  • Sticky, motion effects and page transitions use Pro’s control ids, CSS variables and class names.
Pro’s own widgets keep Pro’s names on the page, so switching Pro off leaves them with nothing to draw them. To move a Pro-built site, export it as a site kit under Bevel → Site Settings → Tools → Import / Export and import it on a site without Pro: the importer renames Pro’s widgets and dynamic tags to the Kit’s on the way in.
