These sections appear on every element’s Advanced tab (and, for the wrapper link, on Layout or Content). They replace the placeholders the free editor shows for Elementor Pro’s element options, with the same control ids and class names.

Sticky

Advanced → Motion Effects → Sticky: none, top or bottom, on chosen devices, with an offset. After Effects Offset pixels of scrolling the element switches to its Scrolled State: a background colour, padding and shadow, with a transition (default 300 ms). Stay In Column stops it sticking once its parent scrolls away. Hide On Scroll Down slides a top-stuck element away and brings it back on the first scroll up. Anchor Offset keeps room above in-page anchors.

Motion effects

Scrolling effects: vertical and horizontal scroll, transparency, blur, rotate and scale, each with a direction, a speed or level, and the viewport range it plays over. Mouse effects: mouse track and 3D tilt. Anchor points, the devices they apply on, and whether they are relative to the viewport or the whole page.

Custom CSS

Advanced → Custom CSS has one tab per device: Desktop, then every active breakpoint. Desktop CSS applies everywhere; another device’s CSS is printed inside that breakpoint’s media query, on top of the desktop rules. selector stands for the element:
The same control is on Page Settings and in Site Settings.

Attributes

Advanced → Attributes: one key|value per line, dynamic tags allowed. Attributes that could change what the element is or does are never set: id, class, style, src, action, Elementor’s data attributes, and every on… event handler. A Link control that makes the whole element a link. Links and buttons inside it keep their own.

Display conditions

One control at the end of Advanced → Layout, opening a dialog with two halves:
  • The site tree: the same include and exclude conditions as the Theme Builder. Show this element on the front page only, on posts in a category, on every page but one.
  • Visitor rules, each with its own switch; all enabled rules must pass:
Conditions are decided on the server for every request. In the editor the element always shows, so it stays editable.

Tooltip

Advanced → Tooltip: a description, placement, follow-cursor, animation, trigger, show and hide delays, offsets and an arrow, with full styling. The tooltip script loads only on pages that have one.

Elementor Pro

With Pro active, Pro keeps sticky, motion effects, custom CSS, attributes, the wrapper link and display conditions; the tooltip carries on. See Working next to Elementor Pro.
