Duplicate posts and pages
A Duplicate action on the post, page and template lists. It asks for the copy’s title, slug and status, and whether to bring taxonomies, custom fields and the featured image along. On by default under Site Settings → Settings → General; off means no hooks at all.Front-end edit buttons
A pencil floats over every Elementor document on the front end: the header, the footer, the page, any rendered template. Clicking it opens that document in the editor. Only users who can edit see it, which are the same users the page cache skips, so nothing of it lands in a cached page. On by default.Meta description
A Meta Description box on posts and pages and a matching control in Elementor’s Page Settings, kept in sync, with a 160-character hint. The tag is printed only if nothing else printed one. The module stays out of the way entirely when an SEO plugin is installed: Yoast, Rank Math, All in One SEO, SEOPress, The SEO Framework, Slim SEO or Squirrly. The MCP’sset_meta_description tool writes the same field.
SVG uploads
Off by default, under Site Settings → Settings → Security. When on, users who may post unfiltered HTML (administrators) can upload SVG files, and every SVG is sanitised on the way in: scripts, event handlers, external references and dangerous styles are removed, and a file that cannot be made safe is refused. SVGs also get the width and height WordPress and Elementor expect of an image.Shortcodes
[year] prints the current year, [site-title] the site’s name, [bvl-post-reading-time] the post’s estimated reading time.
Font preloading
Site Settings → Settings → Preload Fonts lists the site’s custom fonts and the Google fonts Elementor has stored locally; tick the families used above the fold and one file per face is preloaded. A font still served from Google’s CDN is not offered, because preloading it would not help.Polylang

The editor pin
Elementor 4 ships its next-generation editor features (atomic widgets, global classes, variables, components, the new editor) on by default and hidden from the Experiments screen. The Kit’s widgets, controls and templates are built against Elementor’s current element model, so the Kit keeps those experiments off: it resets their defaults on every load, writes them off on activation and after a starter run, and switches off any still active on the next admin load. A site that switched one on deliberately, through its own option, is left alone. Thebevel/elementor/pin_to_v3 filter, returned false, leaves Elementor entirely as it is.
