> ## Documentation Index > Fetch the complete documentation index at: https://docs.wpbevel.com/llms.txt > Use this file to discover all available pages before exploring further. # Site Settings > Elementor's global colours, fonts, theme style and layout as a full admin screen, with the Kit's own settings beside them. **Bevel → Site Settings** shows the whole of Elementor's Site Settings (the active kit) as a wp-admin page, with the same controls the editor's panel draws, a search box, undo and redo, a device switcher for responsive controls and a live preview on the tabs where one makes sense. Changes save in place, and Elementor regenerates its CSS from them. The left rail groups the tabs: **Global** (Colors, Fonts), **Theme Style** (Typography, Buttons, Images, Form Fields), **Settings** (Site Identity, General, Background, Layout, Lightbox, Page Transitions, Custom CSS) and **Bevel Kit** (Settings, Tools, Account). Other plugins' admin notices are kept off this screen. ## What the Kit adds to Elementor's tabs ### Site Identity **Light Logo**. A second logo for dark surfaces. The Site Logo widget gets a **Logo** control with *Site Logo* and the light variant, so a footer or a transparent header over a dark hero shows the right mark. ### General Sits directly below Site Identity. * **Smooth Scrolling**, off by default. Eased scrolling on the live site. * **Auto Animation**, off by default. Every widget without an entrance animation of its own gets one, staggered in document order. The initial delay, the delay between widgets and the animation are yours to set (default fadeInUp, 50 ms between widgets). * **Animation Style**. Replaces Elementor's entrance keyframes site-wide: None, Creative, Snappy, Soft, Laser, Elastic, Linear, Magic, SCI-FI. * **Back to Top**, on by default. Position, mobile visibility, icon, colours in normal and hover state, radius, padding, size. * **Icon Libraries**. One switch per bundled icon library. See [Custom Icons](/kit/custom-icons). Changes on this tab show after saving and reloading the preview. ### Layout * **Boxed Layout**. Wraps header, content and footer in a box: container width (default 1300 px), top and bottom margin, background colour, shadow. * **Default Page Layout** defaults to Elementor's *Full Width* template, so a page left on the default template renders edge to edge under the site header and footer. ### Buttons * **Hover Animation**. One animation applied to every button on the site. [Bevel MCP](/mcp/overview) sets this when it sets up a site. * Text colour and hover text colour also apply to inline SVG icons inside buttons. ### Typography **Blog Typography**: fonts for H1 to H6 and paragraphs inside post content. Post content uses the global fonts unless these are set. ### Custom CSS Three more sections beside Elementor's CSS box: * **Custom JS**, printed before ``; script tags are added for you. * **Custom Content in Header**, printed inside ``. * **Custom Content in Footer**, printed before ``. Only a user who may post unfiltered HTML (an administrator on a single site) can change these three; anyone else's save keeps the previous value. The `bevel/kit/allow_unfiltered_custom_code` filter changes who. ### Page Transitions See [Page Transitions](/kit/page-transitions). ## The Settings tab Under the **Bevel Kit** group. Needs the *manage options* capability. ### General | Setting | Default | What it does | | ----------------------------- | ------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | Admin Bar Menu | On | The **Bevel** node in the admin bar with Site Settings, Theme Builder and Clear Cache. | | Front-end Edit Buttons | On | A pencil over every Elementor document on the front end, opening it in the editor. | | Duplicate Posts and Pages | On | A Duplicate action on the post, page and template lists. | | Polylang Header & Footer | On | Shown only with Polylang. A translated page gets the translated header and footer. | | Disable Comments | Off | Closes comments everywhere and removes the Comments menu. | | Use Site Icon on Login Screen | On | The site icon replaces the WordPress logo on the login page, linked home. | | Bevel Console Signature | On | A one-line "Built with Bevel" in the browser console. | ### Forms reCAPTCHA v2, reCAPTCHA v3 (with its score threshold) and hCaptcha keys, the blocklist, the minimum time to fill and whether blocked submissions are kept. Uploads are sanitised. See [Extras](/kit/extras#svg-uploads). | | Disable XML-RPC | Off | ### Post Revisions How many revisions WordPress keeps per post: the WordPress default (all), 2, 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, or none. ### Performance The performance options live under **Tools → Optimization**, next to the one-click optimizer that sets them.
